Location

The self-service FDM printers can be found in the medium risk area of the Digital Fabrication Workshop (dFab) These machines can be accessed during workshop hours (Monday-Friday 9-5).

Access

Once level 2 training has been completed, you will be able to access the FDM printers independently for the duration of your enrolment at Monash, providing you complete the annual General Access Assessment

Users can book in for a maximum of 24 hours (per week/ per person). This is to allow equal opportunity to all MADA staff/students. All sessions must be booked ahead of time on Skedda.

If you require additional printing time, please speak to a technical staff member.

Do not use the printers without a Skedda booking. This system is used to track usage and ensure machines are maintained appropriately.
