General Information

Location

The laser cutters can be found in the medium risk area of the Digital Fabrication Workshop (dFab) and can be accessed during workshop hours.

Access

Once laser training has been completed, you will be able to access the laser cutters independently for the duration of your enrolment at Monash providing you complete the annual General Access Assessment

Users can book in for a maximum of 60 minutes (per week/ per person). This is to allow equal opportunity to all MADA staff/students. All sessions must be booked ahead of time on Skedda.

dFab Laser Cutters

dFab has a suite of 7 Epilog laser cutters available for student use.

Please be aware of the capabilities of each laser prior to booking.

Laser 8 belongs to the Monash research group SensiLab and is not accessible to any MADA staff/students.
