Download & Install Bambu Studio

All self service prints must be prepared independently using Bambu-Studio and the dFab configuration files. This software is compatible with MacOS and Windows and be downloaded at the link below.

Download Bambu Studios Here

After downloading and installing Bambu Studios, launch Bambu Studios and follow the Setup Wizard (click to enlarge the below images if required)

Select Region : Asia-Pacific

Select Printer : Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 0.4mm Nozzle

Select Filament : PLA, Bambu Lab

Create a Bambu Account This account does not need to be associated with your Monash email

Downloading & Installing

1. Download and Unzip dFab-Config-24-V.zip

2. Open dFab_Startup.3mf as a Project in Bambu Studio

3. Select File > Import > Import Configs..

4. Select all .json files in the dFab Config folder and Open You are now ready to slice your files

dFab Self Service Workflow

Please follow the below workflow to book and slice your prints;

1. On your personal or Monash computer, slice your models using dFabs printing profiles

2. Use the time estimate to book a machine via Skedda

3. Bring the .stl of your model/s into dFab to re-slice on the Self Service computers and send to your booked printer
