Level 1 : Laser Cutting
Overview
Level 1 : Laser Training is designed for on-campus staff & students wishing to operate dFab's suite of laser cutters. Training includes; basic laser function, materials, file set up, standard operation, emergency procedures, material management & clean up procedures.
This training is comprised of the following 2 parts.
Online Assessment
Practical Demonstration in the workshop
Once training has been completed, staff/students will be able to book & operate dFab's suite of Epilog laser cutters independently.
Online Assessment
To complete the online component of laser training, you will need to read through all sections contained in Level 1 : Laser Cutting.
Once finished, you will be prompted to complete the online assessment. You are welcome to refer back to this information whilst completing the online assessment.
When you have passed the online assessment, you will receive an email with a link to book the practical demonstration.
